Unlock the Power of Stories Today!
At Hoopoe Share, we believe in the transformative power of stories. Our mission is to foster literacy and cultural understanding by providing children and families with access to books that celebrate diversity and preserve cultural heritage. We understand that learning to read in one’s mother tongue is crucial for personal identity and community connection.
Since our founding in the 1990s, we have gifted over 7 million printed books to children in countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mexico, and Ukraine. Our outreach extends beyond borders, reaching educators in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, as well as countless classrooms worldwide. Now, we are excited to expand our impact through the Hoopoe Share online library, which offers an extensive collection of children's stories in multiple languages.
Stories are not just a means of entertainment; they are powerful tools for education. Our books allow learners of all ages to connect with their cultural roots while also embracing new ideas. We are committed to reaching vulnerable populations, including displaced families and those with limited access to educational resources. By donating to Hoopoe Share, you enable us to provide our services free of charge to those unable to pay, ensuring that every child has access to the joy of reading and learning.
Your contribution directly impacts our ability to:
- Provide free access to our online library for families and educators in need.
- Continue distributing printed books to children who lack access to digital resources.
- Develop new bilingual stories and educational materials that foster tolerance and understanding across cultures.
Every dollar counts, and with your support, we can create a world where every child can experience the magic of stories, regardless of their circumstances. Join us in our mission to empower young minds, preserve cultural heritage, and build bridges through literacy. Together, we can make a difference—one story at a time.
