Your donation will help us print and produce Hoopoe’s unique teaching stories as illustrated books to take home, read online, or watch as simple animations. Through this program more than 30 titles in multiple languages, each with ancillary activities and teacher guides, will reach children in need throughout the world.
These ageless universal stories address social emotional development, higher level thinking skills, and perception. Absorbing these tales helps heal young minds exposed to the trauma of dislocation and violence, allowing every child the opportunity to become a confident thinking adult.

With the help of volunteers and donors, we have been able to print and distribute over 7 million beautifully illustrated traditional teaching stories to under-served children. We are now working to provide a library of these tales as online animations in more than 25 languages for worldwide distribution to libraries, schools, and families throughout the world. With the help of volunteers and donors, we have been able to print and distribute millions of beautifully illustrated traditional Teaching-Stories by Idries Shah to under-served children through our programs, Share Literacy, Books for Afghanistan, Books for Pakistan and Books for Refugees.
